Teaching Assistant (SEN)

31.25hrs per week, term-time only – Monday to Friday (08.30-15.15)

Fixed term contract until 31st August 2026

Salary: Grade B1 FTE £24,790.00

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with SEND children. We are looking for supportive, caring and enthusiastic people to join us as Teaching Assistants and who are able to engage and communicate well, and able to model the school expectations.  

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Pupil Support team and you will be responsible for assisting them to provide outstanding care and support for our SEND children.

You will be required to work under the guidance of the SENCO, senior staff and teachers to support the learning and emotional needs of children with SEND.

The successful candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate a passion for enhancing the standards of learning and achievements for children with SEND, as well as being committed to pastoral care, collaborative team-work and flexible working. A ‘child-centred nurturing’ ethos is essential for this role.
