At Newton Longville Church of England Primary School our aim is to support and guide each pupil within a Christian ethos in their progress towards fulfilling their full potential, mentally, physically, spiritually and morally and to assist them towards becoming responsible members of society.

We are looking for someone:

  • Who has children’s welfare, safety and learning at the heart of everything they do
  • Who can work well in a collaborative and supportive team
  • Who can use their initiative as well as take direction
  • Who has great organisational skills with a willingness to cope and respond well to change
  • Who has excellent communication skills.
  • Who can observe and listen as well as model outstanding language skills
  • Who has an understanding of children with specific needs as this role will primarily involve supporting a wonderful SEND child.

Other information

This role includes supporting some of our younger children with SEND as well as supporting in the classroom. Please state any SEND experience you have in your application. Hours are 08.45 start time until 15.15 with a half hour lunch break.
