Teaching Assistant job summary
Salary: Grade 5 SCP 7-9 , £26,403 - £27,254 FTE per annum
Pro Rota salary based on 32.5 hours £20,038.19 - £20,684.05 per annum dependent on continuous years’ service.
Hours of work: To be worked Monday to Friday Term Time.
Numbers of hours is subject to discussions at interview but will be no more than 32.5 hours per week.
Contract: Permanent Term time, 38 working weeks plus 5 inset days (39 weeks).
Responsible to: SENco – Deputy Headteacher
Start Date: September 2026.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work, under the guidance of the Class Teacher and SENCo, to provide support in the care of pupil(s) and their needs who require particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
