What skills and experience we're looking for
EastgateAcademy are recruiting a Teaching Assistantfor an immediate startto join itsfriendlyteam. You will work closely with teaching and support colleagues to ensure that the children within your class are given access to the highest quality of teaching and learning opportunities.
You will work closely with children to support their progress, you will be committed to ensuring that all children achieve their full potential. This role requires you to be passionate, calm, and an excellent communicator. You will supervise and support children during the lunch hour to include helping with food and social play.
You will be qualified to Level 2 in English and Maths (GCSE A-C or equivalent) and previous similar experience would be an advantage. Full training and support is provided.

What the school offers its staff
The role is for 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time plus training days. A total of 39 weeks per year.

Salary - Grade D - £15,046to £15,320per annum pro rated
