Are you an experienced TA? Or are you thinking about becoming a teacher?
This role could be anywhere within the school, however, if you have experience within EYFS or Nursery in a child led Curiosity Approach friendly environment, we would be particularly interested in hearing from you.
Lakenham Primary and Nursery School is a lovely school within easy reach of central Norwich. Early Excellence uses the EYFS & KS1 provision for training for other schools to see what really great practise and environment looks like. Do you think you would like to join an outward looking team?
A comprehensive training package is in place for the successful application to ensure staff can become their best. The staff are relentlessly focusing on teaching and learning; striving for excellence now and in the future. To be successful in gaining this post, we require someone who can become immersed in a ‘can-do culture’ where nothing is seen by pupils or teaching staff as a potential barrier to successful learning.
We require a Teaching Assistant with good communication skills, a welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism, while being able to relate well to both children and adults. This is an important post in the school and we want a reliable, well organised, adaptable, caring person with, most importantly, a sense of humour. We would prefer to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant or a graduate with good standards of literacy, numeracy and computing skills, with an understanding of the National Curriculum to help move children’s learning forward if issues are found.
We can offer you an enthusiastic and committed team within a friendly school community, where we laugh everyday!
This post is initially a temporary position but is possible to become a permanent position.
If you are interested in this position and would like further information please discuss with Mrs Cassandra Williams, Headteacher. Visits are welcome.
