The Gordon Children’s Academy are seeking a dedicated EYFS / KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team. Our Teaching Assistant will play a key role in encouraging positive behaviour, promoting self-esteem, and fostering independent learning to support pupils’ overall development and academic progress.
Phonics experience is desirable, preferably Little Wandle
Key responsibilities include;
- Assisting with the observation and monitoring of pupil progress.
- Maintaining accurate records of interventions and tracking achievements.
- Assis with the preparation of differentiated learning materials and organise classroom displays.
- Support the delivery of engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
There may be a requirement to work with pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans or additional educational needs throughout the Key Stages. There may also be a requirement to administer First Aid, subject to appropriate training.
