EYFS Teaching Assistant
Required from: As soon as possible
Contract Term: Until the end of the school year, 31st July 2027, (with a view to be made permanent)
Full Time – 37 hours a week, term time only, 39 weeks of the year
Pay Scale: Level 1 TA NJC 3–6 (FTE £25,614 - £26,847), dependent on experience (Actual salary £22,030 - £23,091)
Old Basford School are seeking to appoint an inspiring teaching assistant to work within our EYFS team, initially within Nursery. We are excited to welcome a new member of staff to our committed whole school team, who all work hard for the pupils at OBS!
Old Basford School is a two-form entry primary school with a 40 place Nursery in Nottingham City with a fantastic reputation. The ideal candidate will: ·
- have experience of working within EYFS
- hold the relevant qualifications for working within EYFS ratio- must be stated with Dfe guidance
- be consistently good within their classroom practice
- be able to improve and impact pupil progress and achievement through quality adult interactions and tailored interventions
- be passionate about play within the Early Years
- be flexible and able to use your own initiative
- follow our reflective and restorative behaviour system with all pupils
- be energetic, enthusiastic and creative
