Teaching Assistant EYFS job summary

We are seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS unit in our Catholic school.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold NVQ Level 3 in Early Years (or equivalent)
• Have good speech, language and communication skills
• Have 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent), including English and Maths
• Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

The post is full time 28.5 hours a week working over 5 days. There will be times when you will be required to work with individual children, small group and support whole classes.
