Teaching Assistant

30 hours per week

Term time only plus 5 training days

Fixed term until 31st August 2027

Grade 1 SCP 3-4 (pro rata based on term time only and part time hours)

The Orchards School is looking to appoint a teaching assistant to join our committed and skilled team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with passionate colleagues and amazing children, as well as having professional development opportunities to upskill themselves.

As a school that values and prioritises inclusion, the successful applicant will support learners within lessons, through interventions and in their play.

About The Orchards School

We are a friendly school with approximately 240 pupils aged between 3 and 9 years. The school fosters close links with parents and the local community. We aim to provide a happy, stimulating and supportive climate in order for our children to achieve their maximum potential. To achieve this, we provide a wide variety of experiences for the children both on and off the school site. These are organised by the staff team of teachers and teaching assistants working together.
