Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work as part of a professional team, supporting high-quality teaching and learning to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum and make strong progress.

Working under the direction of the class teacher, you will provide structured support to individuals, small groups and the wider class, adapting approaches to meet a range of needs, including pupils with SEND. You will deliver targeted interventions, promote independence and engagement whilst contributing to a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.

You will work closely with teachers to support planning, assessment and feedback, helping to monitor pupil progress, ensuring every child feels supported, motivated and able to achieve their full potential.
