Teaching Assistant

Part time across 5 mornings

To commence June 2025 - 15 hours paid at TA NJC rate £12.85ph

This role is to provide general class support across the school including delivering phonics, tailored interventions and small group work under the direction of the teacher. We are looking for an individual with a sensitive and nurturing approach to children's needs, who can be flexible, communicate effectively and think creatively. You will need to show a high degree of initiative and be solution focussed.

You will need to demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful and growing team to improve the life chances of our pupils and make every child feel ‘special’. Ideally, you will:

Provide a sensitive and nurturing approach to children’s needs,

Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents;

Have excellent English and Maths skills;

Be willing to work as part of a team and have a good sense of humour;

Be able to use your own initiative when required;

Have experience in a similar role in a school;

You should have literacy and numeracy to GCSE A-C or equivalent.
