What skills and experience we're looking for

Role:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils across a range of settings, including whole-class environments, small group interventions, and one-to-one sessions.

  • Development of the physical and mental wellbeing of pupils.
  • Delivering activities and interventions as required under direction of the class teacher and SENCo.
  • Communicating effectively with pupils, parents and staff.
  • Supervising breaktime and lunchtime activities.

You have:

  • NVQ Level or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with primary age pupils.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Have a strong and caring personality and is calm, patient and firm.
  • Experience working with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
