Teaching Assistant

Type of role: Part-Time 25 hours a week. Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2026.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 09.00am-3.00pm ( 30 mins unpaid break) per day.

Salary: £25,968 -£26,956 FTE ( Depending on experience)

Working Weeks: Term Time only.

We are excited to welcome a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team at Peatmoor Community Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference to children's lives and wants to play a key role in their learning journey.

What you will be doing:

Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and Headteacher to support learning in a variety of settings, from one-to-one and small groups to the whole class. Helping children access the curriculum and thrive in their learning, building both their skills and their confidence, Playing an active role in nurturing the emotional, physical and educational development of every pupil. Supporting children with a wide range of needs, using creativity and patience to help them succeed.
