Kingfisher Primary requires a Teaching Assistant to work within KS2 (in the first instance)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team working with children aged 7 -11 years. You will be responsible for the academic and emotional development and attainment of some of our children.
We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate person, who has experience of working in Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day to day school life and committed to supporting children to achieve their best through an engaging, creative curriculum.

- Teaching Assistants are members of a team of practitioners responsible for the education and care of the children in the school who will implement learning for individuals/groups and supervise physical/general care of children, including those with SEN.

Kingfisher is a fantastic academy that places great importance on the success of its pupils. Children are assessed regularly and effective support ensures children make progress. An innovative curriculum has been designed to ensure that children take part in exciting lessons and that they play an active part in their own learning. A number of extra curricular clubs ensure that children have access to a range of enriching activities.
As an academy we love working with parents and have an increasing army of volunteer helpers who support us during the school day. We value the opinions of children in school and they have their own council. The council has regular meetings and discuss a wide range of issues.
Kingfisher is a two form entry academy (420 places) with a 52 place nursery.
