What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong subject knowledge in English and Maths
- Can support high-quality learning experiences for all pupils including those with special education needs.
- Understands safeguarding practices
- Is calm, patient, and sees the potential in all pupils
- Can work independently and collaboratively with other staff members
- Can confidently cover for the class teacher when needed (paid at the appropriate rate)
- Can engage children in play and structured activities during playtimes and lunchtimes.
- Brings a fun personality and good sense of humour.

About the role:
Initial contract: Temporary, with the potential to become permanent.Responsibilities: Supporting pupils with EHCPs, working with individuals and small groups, and assisting within whole classes to enhance learning outcomes.
