Working pattern

Full time, part time: Full time position is 31 hours per week Monday 8.55am to 4.45pm Tuesday to Thursday 8.55am to 3.45pm Friday 8.55am to 3.35pm We would like staff to work a minimum of 3 days per week at the above hours. Alternatively we would be able to offer working hours of 10.00am to 2.00pm, all five days of the school week.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone who has experience of supporting young people who present with additional needs and has a strong understanding of child learning and development.

Applicants must have achieved a qualification in English/literacy and mathematics/numeracy, equivalent to at least Level 2 of the National Qualifications Framework, (GCSE Grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 passes).

Certificates will need to be providedto confirm the successful applicant holds these qualifications.

Teaching Assistants work for 39 weeks of the year, which includes 5 Inset days.

Salary is paid in equal instalments all year around, including in August.
