Teaching Assistant (full-time or part-time) job summary

Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Scale: GST grade B5, currently £22,599 FTE. This is equivalent to £12.04 per hour.

Job Purpose: To work under the overall direction of the Head and class teacher, to provide routine support to the teacher in the care of pupils and management of the classroom. You may be required to provide language and learning support to a specific pupil who requires particular help to overcome barriers to learning. To ensure the safeguarding, and promote the welfare, of all the children in the school community.

You will be required to attend INSET Day Training. Term time staff are not able to take holidays during term time.
