Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking for someone who is well enthusiastic, organized, professional and committed to supporting teaching and learning throughout our school.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting groups of children or individuals during lessons
- Delivering intervention programmes for groups or on a 1:1 basis
- Working with children to support any social, emotional or behavioral
needs
- Occasional cover of classes
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience with supporting children in primary education
- Believes in the inclusion of all children
- Is able to demonstrate a knowledge of or be willing to learn inclusion
strategies to support children with educational needs
- Is able to demonstrate an ability to engage learners in a variety of ways
and has the ability to move pupils’ learning forward
- Is able to communicate effectively with all members of the school
community
- Is a flexible and enthusiastic team-player

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
