What skills and experience we're looking for

Stirchley Primary School is looking to appoint a suitably qualified, hardworking, enthusiastic teaching assistant to work in our friendly and welcoming school. The position requires supporting our breakfast club in the morning to start at 7.30am and it includes lunchtime duties as well as classroom cover until 2.30pm.

The successful candidates should be prepared to work throughout all three Key Stages if the need arises, Foundation, KS1 & KS2.

You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with children, staff, and parents. Applicants should be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, be willing to be first aid trained and have a good standard of education. Staff will be expected to work their hours on INSET days and holidays are not allowed during term time.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
