What skills and experience we're looking for

Do you enjoy being with young children? Are you passionate about children’s education? Are you looking to work within a primary school?  Our nursery is looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant. Applicants should be passionate about Early Years education and being part of a committed team providing excellent education for 2 – 4 year olds, as well as having a “full and relevant” Level 2 or 3 qualification, as listed https://www.gov.uk/guidance/early-years-qualifications-finder. Hollymount Nursery is a vital and thriving part of the school and is involved in all aspects of school life.The position would be suitable for those who are qualified to be a professional teaching assistant, although may also suit those with teaching qualifications looking for more experience. The Black Pear Trust offers a comprehensive training offer for professional development and supports colleagues' interests and ambitions.  The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
