We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a difference to children’s lives. Your application should demonstrate how your experience to date and relevant qualifications meet the criteria listed in the attached Person Specification and Job Description.
This contract is on a Fixed Term basis (in the first instance) from September / October 2026 until the end of the 2026/7 academic year. The role will be a mixture of supporting students in either mainstream education, or in our Autistic Resource Centre.
Grade 5, SCP 06-11 Gross Annual Salary Range £25,989 - £28,142, to be pro-rated based on
32 hours a week, Monday-Friday 8.30am start, 39 weeks per year.

St Nicholas Catholic High School is a mixed catholic secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Northwich, Cheshire, and caters for approximately 1,250 pupils.
The school opened as a secondary modern in 1965, becoming a comprehensive school in 1972. It is a voluntary-aided school.
