What skills and experience we're looking for
The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support pupils learning at Grampound With Creed C of E Primary School.
As the successful candidate, you will have a nurturing demeanour and be fully committed to promoting the needs and welfare of all children, including those with SEN/D. You will demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
You will hold a minimum GCSE qualifications in English and Maths, and have experience working as a classroom Teaching Assistant. You will have worked across both EYFS framework and/ or Key Stage 1 curriculum expectations, and be confident in providing learning support to children with or without additional needs, by supporting learning through play and small-group work.
It is essential that you can support the Christian Ethos of the school, whilst building positive relationships and working collaboratively as part of a team. Experience with Read Write Inc and paediatric first aid training is desirable but not essential. We welcome candidates who are passionate about education, able to work collaboratively, and committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
