We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work predominantly in KS1 to start at the beginning of the autumn term.

Essential criteria:

·      Experience of working in KS1 and delivering phonics.

·      GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade C/grade 4 or above.

·      Ability to establish positive and supportive relationships with children, parents and staff.

·      Ability to work under the direction of the class teacher and as part of a team.

·      Ability to be able to use initiative to support learning and behaviour.

·      Ability to provide individual, small group and whole class support both in and out of the classroom.

·      Willingness to promote Christian Values and uphold the Christian ethos of the school.

·      Willingness to participate in training and development.

·      Willingness to undertake an HLTA role to cover PPA.
