is seeking to appoint a Part-Time

Teaching Assistant - Preschool

Payscale: (FTE 23,500 per year, approx. £3,734 pro-rata)

Working hours, working 38 weeks per year

11.0 hours over 3 days as follows:

Monday & Friday 9am - 1pm and Wednesday 9am - 12pm

Commencing: As soon as possible

About You

The ideal candidate will be an individual who:

Has experience of working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role

Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Is enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education

Is highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload

Can work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils

Has a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative

Can work flexibly and professionally

About Role

The purpose of this role is to enhance capacity in our Preschool. You will be working alongside the EYFS team and supporting children across the setting. This is a temporary role with the opportunity to extend, working 11 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
