What skills and experience we're looking for
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective learning activities.
- Provide support to pupils, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
- Support pupils with their social, emotional and behavioural development, promoting positive relationships and a positive attitude to learning.
- Work with pupils who have additional needs, following individual support plans and agreed strategies. Be familiar with relevant Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and other individual plans for the pupils you • Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and learning materials.
- Monitor and record pupils’ progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
- Support pupils during break times, lunchtimes, school trips and other activities as required.

• A temporary, part-time role of 25 hrs per week for 39 weeks per year until 31 December 2026.
• Salary upon appointment Grade 3 Scale Point 6 £24,796 (actual £16,333)
