We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work across our Inclusion Bases: Red Foxes and The Woodland.

This is a permanent role for someone who is adaptive, consistent and patient, and who understands how to support pupils with a range of needs. Our pupils are predominantly neurodiverse and require a nurturing and flexible approach.

About Our Inclusion Bases

About the Role

You will be working either in a small group capacity or on a 1:1 basis depending on individual needs, which evolve over time. This role involves working across both Inclusion bases and supporting pupils of varying ages to successfully access learning in their mainstream classroom. Each pupil has a unique profile and requires an adaptive, empathetic and child‑centred approach. Their range of needs includes, but is not limited to:

  • Build positive relationships with parents/carers under teacher guidance
  • Undertake structured and agreed learning activities, adjusting according to pupil responses
  • Support pupils to access learning and make progress in both Inclusion Bases and mainstream classes
  • Work independently and as part of a team

We Can Offer:

  • A friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic and committed staff team
  • Fantastic children who are keen to learn
  • Two bespoke Inclusion Bases: Red Foxes and The Woodland
  • Thrive approach
  • A commitment to CPD and professional development with opportunities across the Trust
