About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join our fantastic team. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar setting. You will be working one to one and small group settings, supporting some of our pupils who need additional help with learning and emotional resilience.
In your role you will:
- Assistant in providing support for pupils, including those with special needs. Supporting them to access learning activities.
- Work with class teachers to ensure appropriate educational provision to support pupils to achieve their learning goals.
- Assist with the planning of learning activities within the nurture room.
- Establish positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
We want someone who enjoys being part of a team, is committed, and is prepared to 'muck in', is bubbly and kind with a great sense of humour.
The successful candidate will be calm, patient and flexible and be willing to learn and apply support techniques, developing their proven skills and experience further.
Hours
Full (8.30am to 3.30pm) or part days (8.30am to 1.30pm) Monday to Friday, term time only.
