Langham Village School is a thriving and inclusive primary school where children are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team, working in our KS1 classroom with children who require additional support to thrive in their learning.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience and/or qualifications in supporting children with SEND
  • Has a good understanding of how to engage and motivate children with additional needs
  • Is patient, resilient, and able to adapt to the needs of individual children
  • Is committed to identifying and overcoming barriers to learning
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative and nurturing team
  • Brings creativity, flexibility, and a positive mindset to their role

This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.

If you have information to declare it may be protected under the Exceptions Orders and you may not be required to declare it.
