• Salary – Scale D, £25,989 - £26,403 FTE
• Fixed Term (pupil specific) 
• Part Time 
• 30 hours per week (M-F) 
• Term Time + 1 week 
• Required for 1 September 2026 

We are seeking a caring, skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and committed team. This fixed-term post is to provide support for a KS2 child. 

A full job description will be provided separately. 

We are looking for someone who: 

• has experience of working with children with SEND 
• has experience using de-escalation techniques 
• has strong literacy and numeracy skills 
• is enthusiastic, adaptable and has a good sense of humour 
• can work effectively as part of a team 
• is committed to working in partnership with staff and families 

Personal Qualities: 

• creativity and initiative to design resources and plan meaningful learning experiences 
• flexibility and the ability to adapt activities to meet children’s needs 
• excellent communication skills 
• a positive approach to working with parents and colleagues 

Working hours: 

8.45am–3.15pm, Monday to Friday (30 hours per week).  

You will be joining a supportive team in a positive teaching and learning environment, with opportunities for ongoing professional development.
