St Luke’s CE Primary school is situated on the outskirts of Northampton. We are a happy school with a strong Christian ethos. We are a 2-form entry school with 400 children on roll. We are proud to be a member of Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET) and in our last Ofsted inspection, September 2025, we received good.
An opportunity has arisen for a teaching assistant to join our school. We are looking for an inspirational professional, to work within our school.
We are proud to be recruiting for a caring, passionate and professional Teaching Assistant, to join our team, who is eager to provide learning and pastoral care of our children.
We are seeking someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community
- Can work creatively with the teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment, meeting the needs of the pupils and curriculum
- Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly, and independently
- Shows initiative and creativity in different learning situations
- Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.
- Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare- both at home and in school.
