The Trustees of Inclusive Schools Trust wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to work as part of a small and dedicated team at George White Junior School. We are particularly interested to hear from individuals with KS2 experience who are committed to ‘going the extra mile’ to ensure that our inclusive ethos is a reality.
The successful candidate will have:
- High aspirations of children's learning and behaviour
- Experience working with children across KS2, particularly in Year 3 and 4
- Knowledge of Read Write Inc Phonics, though training will be provided
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- A commitment to making inclusion a reality in the classroom
- A willingness to go the extra mile for the children and be able to make a significant contribution to the wider life of the school
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils and parents/carers
