What skills and experience we're looking for

John Harrison CE Primary is looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant Level 2, to support a Key Stage 2 pupil to access teaching and learning within their class.

We are looking for a practitioner, with a Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification, or equivalent. Experience working with a child with additional needs is desirable.

The successful candidate will be required to:

- Have a good standard in Literacy and Numeracy

- Have the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents, staff and outside agencies.

The successful candidate should be adaptable in their approach, have a sense of humour, be a good team player, be creative and hard working.

The position requires working hours of 32.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
