What skills and experience we're looking for

As a Teaching Assistant at Sir John Nelthorpe School, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and enhancing the educational experience of our pupils. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the delivery of engaging lessons, provide one-on-one support to pupils, and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the school.

As a Teaching Assistant you will assist teachers in preparing and delivering lessons. Provide individualized support to pupils, including those with special educational needs. Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Support pupils with their academic and social development. Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources. Supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtime, and school activities. Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure the well-being of all pupils and perform administrative tasks as needed.
