Teaching Assistant L3 - The Wilfred Owen School job summary
We are looking for a dynamic, positive and determined member of staff. Under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff, health care staff and other professionals, you will undertake educational activities and attend to the educational, medical and social needs of the child in order to support their learning and development and to ensure their safety in school. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, creative and enthusiastic to inspire and achieve the very best outcomes for the child. You will be happy to work independently and as part of a wider support team. Commitment to embrace new ideas and challenges whilst having a strong approach to pastoral support for the child is essential. You will be able to work under pressure and remain calm in all situations. Experience of Makaton would be an advantage.
