Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistnat with PPA cover job summary

You will work with teachers to support learning for pupils with SEN, helping them overcome barriers such as learning, behavioural, communication, sensory or physical needs. This may include supporting personal care, medical and emotional needs.

You will use EHCPs and person-centred planning to support and monitor progress. As an all-through school (ages 3-16), you may work across any age range.

As part of PPA cover in primary, you will deliver pre-planned whole-class lessons, maintain positive behaviour, support pupils of all abilities (including SEND), provide feedback, and contribute to the wider classroom.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
