What does a 1:1 Teaching Assistant do?
In a nutshell:
This is a hugely varied role, one minute you will be helping the child to whom you give dedicated support assistance to understand their lesson, the next you might be helping them travel between classrooms. Some children may need personal care, if the role requires that, we will let you know when you apply.
You will spend your day with your appointed child, get to know them and help and watch them grow and develop. It’s an amazing job and one that’s critical to helping that child. You’ll feedback how the child develops and progresses and work with class teachers on areas of need.
Our children are amazing and we intend to help them to continue to be amazing, regardless of what life throws at them. This is a key role in enabling that to happen.

Salary Scale: Scale 1a point 3 £24,796 (FTE)
Actual Salary: £18,546
Reports to: Principal
