Working pattern
- Full time: 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days to be worked during school closures. Additional Hours due to transporting pupils in school cars: 7.45am start (additional 55 minutes per day). The additional 55 minutes per day is fixed term until 17th July 2026, and the hours will be reviewed.

What skills and experience we're looking for
Ash Grove School is an Alternative Provision School that supports pupils who face barriers to learning within mainstream education. Every day is different at Ash Grove, and the right candidate will thrive in a dynamic, supportive, and at times, challenging environment.
We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants Level 1who will not only assist in the classroom, but also take on the vital role of transporting pupils using our school vehicles. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys varied responsibilities and wants to play a key part in both the academic and personal development of our pupils. You will be helping ensure safe, smooth transitions between home, school, and off-site activities, making a huge difference in the lives of our children and families.
The additional driving hours is fixed term until 17th July 2026.
