What skills and experience we're looking for
Essential
- Experience of working in a school or other environment with young people.
Desirable
- Experience of working with students who have special educational needs.
- Experience of supporting students with challenging behaviour.
- Willingness to support in both mainstream and Resourced Provision.
Essential
- Proficient in the use of ICT.
- Ability to assist with the supervision of students.
- Display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
Desirable
- First aid qualification.
- Knowledge of classroom roles and responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of relevant polices/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation.
