Full-time equivalent salary
- Level 1, Grade 2 £22,737 pro rata
Actual salary
- Equates to apx £11,162, per annum
What skills and experience we're looking for
Kingsway Community Trust wishes to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and talented teaching assistant to work in and out of class to support an individual child in Year 5 with ASD needs on a one to one basis. The role will be based at Ladybarn Primary, on a 2 year temporary contract or whilst the named pupil remains in the school or in the event that their EHCP funding changes whichever comes first.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a school setting with pupils with Special Educational Needs. They will be a strong communicator who is a nurturing, patient and positive individual. They will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents. Strong literacy skills are essential and successful completion of tests in these areas is part of the interview process.
