Your new school

At Wybers Wood, we are proud to be an inclusive, caring primary school with just under 400 pupils. Our recent Ofsted inspection praised us as an “exceptional school where pupils flourish.” Inspectors highlighted:

  • “Staff have created a culture where children feel safe, happy and eager to learn”.
  • “There is a strong sense of community across the school”.
  • “Pupils achieve exceptionally well at this school”.
  • Staff are overwhelmingly positive about the school. They appreciate the highly effective training and support they receive. Staff feel that leaders care and are considerate of their workload and well-being”.

We take pride in our warm, friendly environment and our commitment to nurturing every child – not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. From their very first days, our pupils are encouraged to develop a love for learning, resilience and confidence, ensuring they achieve things they never thought possible.

Our dedicated staff team go above and beyond to provide the very best for our children – educationally, morally, spiritually and physically. In return, we provide an environment where colleagues feel supported, valued and part of something bigger. As Ofsted noted, “Staff feel proud to work at Wybers Wood Academy.”

We are also proud to hold the Platinum Sportsmark and Silver Artsmark, reflecting our pupils’ exceptional achievements in sport and the arts. Our broad curriculum puts a strong emphasis on oracy, health and confidence, helping pupils to shine as articulate and self-assured young people.
