We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly team. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide learning support a range of children within the school who will:

  • provide excellent support for the children
  • demonstrate good English and maths skills 
  • enjoy working with children and be able to demonstrate the ability to form positive and supportive relationships with children and adults
  • be able to use initiative to support behavioural and learning needs 
  • be flexible and able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team
  • be enthusiastic, demonstrate patience and have a sense of humour
  • seek to improve themselves in terms of skills, knowledge and experience.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, self-motivated, have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and be prepared to work creatively with children to positively progress their educational and personal development. Hours of work, Monday to Friday 8.30 - 12.00, 1.00 - 3.30 and until 4.30 on Thursdays.

This is an exciting career opportunity for experienced support staff or a graduate who is seeking an opportunity to gain experience in a school setting as the beginning of their teaching career.
