Teaching Assistant (Level 2) + After School Club Assistant
Contract: Your contract will be split into two; 25 hours over 5 days per week, 39 weeks per year (TA) and 5.5 hours over 2 days per week, 38 weeks per year (ASC), both on a fixed term basis until 31 August 2026.
Our ideal candidate will be someone who has:
- Previous experience of working with and supporting children of relevant age in a school environment.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to work constructively as part of a supportive team.
- Good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
- Ability to build successful working relationships with both children, staff and parents.
- Personal commitment to on-going professional development.
- The ability to work in collaboration with the whole staffing team
- Passion for fulfilling a role in facilitating children's wellbeing

Freeman's is a proud member of PDET, alongside 35 other schools in the Rutland, Peterborough and Northamptonshire area. Freeman’s Endowed Church of England Junior Academy is a two form entry school of some 240 pupils. The school has a strong Christian ethos and links with the parish church of St Barnabas.
