Laughton Junior & Infant School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.
We are a small, one-form entry primary school with a strong community ethos and high aspirations for all children. We are proud of our nurturing environment where where children are encouraged to become resilient, inquisitive and confident learners.
The successful candidate will:
- Work alongside class teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning
- Provide targeted support for individual pupils and small groups
- Promote inclusion and help children access all areas of the curriculum
- Support pupils’ social, emotional and academic development
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Demonstrate flexibility, initiative and a commitment to helping every child succeed
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with early years and primary-aged children
- Understands how to support pupils with a range of learning needs
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is patient, enthusiastic and committed to inclusion
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Shares our ambition to provide the very best outcomes for children
