Pay: Grade D3-4 (£24796 - £25185). This is £6,909.75 actual per annum.

We are now looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be someone who has

  • Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community
  • Previous experience of working with and supporting children of relevant age in a school environment is desirable
  • Can work creatively with the teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment, meeting the needs of the pupils and curriculum
  • Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly, and independently
  • Shows initiative and creativity in different learning situations
  • Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.
  • Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare- both at home and in school.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to work constructively as part of a supportive team.
  • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Ability to build successful working relationships with both children, staff and parents.
  • Personal commitment to on-going professional development.
