About the Role

We are looking for a teaching assistant who:

• Supports high-quality teaching and learning across the classroom

• Works effectively with individuals, small groups and whole-class activities under the direction of the class teacher

• Builds positive, nurturing relationships with pupils, including those with SEND

• Use initiative to support and motivate pupils

• Has knowledge of SEND needs and adaptations

• Demonstrates good communication skills and a flexible, team-focused approach

• Shows enthusiasm, initiative and a commitment to inclusive practice

  Essential Requirements

  • Relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Experience supporting pupils in a KS2 setting

  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
