What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Experience of working with children and ideally children with SEND

  • High expectations of themselves and the team and children they work with.

  • Is aware of, and respond appropriately to, individual pupils’ needs

  • Has confidence in implementing strategies to support the child’s learning and development

  • Will promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils

  • Is creative and can produce high quality displays.

  • Patient, nurturing and positive, able to build relations built on trust and respect.

  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to support colleagues, children and families

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and administration skills

  • Able to work in partnership with colleagues, parents and outside agencies to secure the best outcomes for our children and families
