We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join Reydon Primary School, working closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom and through targeted work with individuals and small groups. This role is central to enabling all pupils, including those with additional needs, to access the curriculum, build confidence and feel fully included in school life. It involves delivering planned learning activities, supporting social and emotional development, and contributing to a safe, positive environment where every child can succeed. Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning by working with individuals and small groups under the direction of teaching staff
- Deliver and adapt planned learning activities, promoting inclusion and independent learning
- Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND, behavioural or medical needs
- Assist in monitoring, recording and reporting on pupils’ progress and wellbeing
- Contribute to a safe, positive learning environment, including behaviour support and pastoral care
