The Watergrove Trust is a highly successful Multi Academy Trust, situated in the West Pennine area, where community and faith schools work in partnership to serve our diverse local area. After expanding in February 2025, the Trust has nine member schools:

  • Wardle Academy, Matthew Moss High School and Falinge Park High School (Secondary).
  • Kentmere Academy, St. James’ CE Primary School, St. Andrew’s CE Primary School, Moorhouse Academy, St Mary’s CE Primary School and Sandbrook Community Primary School (Primary).

At Sandbrook, we encourage children to experience a wide range of techniques to explore ways of making art using lots of different materials and to learn about other artists, craftspeople and designers from a range of backgrounds and cultures.
