We are seeking a compassionate, patient and committed Teaching Assistant to provide one‑to‑one support for a pupil with behavioural and emotional regulation needs to work at either Didsbury CE or West Didsbury CE. You will play a key role in helping the pupil feel safe, settled and ready to learn each day.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build a trusting, positive relationship with the pupil, offering calm, consistent support to help them manage emotions and develop positive learning behaviours.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement agreed behaviour strategies and individual support plans.
  • Support the pupil to access learning by breaking tasks into achievable steps, encouraging independence, and celebrating progress.
