This is a term-time only role - 31.25 hours per week

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.15pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the team at Bar Hill Primary School. You will be part of a very friendly and supportive team working with pupils on a one-to-one basis and leading small group interventions. The role may also include some cover for class teachers, when required. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to the learning and progress of our pupils - you will work closely with our SENDCo, class teacher and teaching assistant team to provide our children with the best possible educational opportunities. An element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching resources/class displays. You will be responsible to the Headteacher.

The ideal candidate:

Will have achieved GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent alongside a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or working towards this)

Will possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team

Demonstrates an understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
